Santurtzi Theatre Festival 2026: "La consagración de la primavera"
Roger Bernat opens the 50th Santurtzi Theatre Festival with his take on La Consagración de la Primavera, the piece Pina Bausch created in 1975 for Tanztheater Wuppertal to Stravinsky's score. There are no professional dancers: wearing headphones, audience members receive simple movement and behaviour instructions that gradually build a collective ritual exploring the group, sacrifice and the oppression of bodies. A participatory work for curious, active audiences. It takes place on 29 November 2026 at 20:00 at Serantes Kultur Aretoa in Santurtzi. Tickets: €10.
