Santurtzi Theatre Festival 2026: "El hijo de la cómica"
As part of the Santurtzi Theatre Festival 2026, José Sacristán adapts, directs and performs this tribute to Fernando Fernán-Gómez, drawn from his memoirs, chiefly "El tiempo amarillo 1921-1943". The piece traces the actor's childhood, youth and first artistic steps between 1921 and 1943, recalling with admiration his family life and steadfast vocation, shaped by the stories Sacristán heard from him in person. Audiovisual set design is by Juan Estelrich and production by Jesús Cimarro. The performance takes place on 14 November 2026 at 20:00 at Serantes Kultur Aretoa. Tickets: €20.
