Santurtzi Theatre Festival 2026: "El dragón de oro"
Part of the Santurtzi Theatre Festival 2026, "El dragón de oro" is a contemporary, performative tragedy with a grotesque tone by Roland Schimmelpfennig. In an apartment building somewhere in Europe, a young Chinese man without a residence permit suffers a severe toothache in the kitchen of an Asian fast-food restaurant while his sister remains missing, as other residents face their own crises. Directed by Ánxeles Cuña Bóveda, with Fina Calleja, Fernando Dacosta, Sabela Gago, Fernando González and Fran Lareu. The performance takes place on 1 November 2026 at 20:00 at Serantes Kultur Aretoa in Santurtzi. Running time is 75 minutes; tickets cost €12.
