Santurtzi Theatre Festival 2026: "52 hertz"
As part of the Santurtzi Theatre Festival 2026, Serantes Kultur Aretoa hosts "52 hertz" on 3 December 2026 at 20:00. The play uses the image of a whale singing at 52 hertz, a frequency other blue whales cannot hear, as a metaphor for social isolation, exploring people who are going through or have gone through unwanted loneliness. Staged in a non-realistic style, it blends poetic imagery and choreography. Directed by Garbi Losada, who co-wrote the script with José Antonio Vitoria, with performers Joseba Apaolaza, Dorleta Urretabizkaia, Martxelo Rubio, Amaia Irazabal and Kimetz Etxabe. Basque version by Bego Losada. Tickets: 10 €.
