'Fábulas del swing' (MALAVARA)
Malavara brings to Carrizo a musical and educational show about swing, using true stories, anecdotes and humour to trace the genre's origins and celebrate figures such as Ella Fitzgerald, The Mills Brothers and Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Expect live music featuring unusual instruments like the washboard, plus archive projections of classic cartoons and 1930s films. The band blends Castilian and Argentine roots, original songs and a theatrical, participatory staging, making it suited to families and groups of friends. The 75-minute show is part of Circuitos Escénicos de Castilla y León. Saturday 28 November 2026 at 20:00, Salón de Actos de la Casa de Cultura de Carrizo. Tickets: 2 euros.
