ARTIUM exhibition: "I Baschi alla Biennale 1976/2026"
From 26 November 2026, Artium Museoa in Vitoria-Gasteiz presents an expanded version of the case study shown at Palazzo Contarini in Venice, revisiting the Basque days at the Venice Biennale in October 1976, held under the slogan Amnistia denontzat during the political transition. It brings together the films screened back then, including Ama Lur, Axut and Arriluce, a work by José Antonio Sistiaga, a sound fragment by the Artze brothers and paintings by Mari Puri Herrero and Damaris Pan. Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday 11:00–14:00 and 17:00–20:00; weekends and holidays 11:00–20:00.
