Expodistrito 2026: "TRIBUTE TO PABLO PICASSO"
As part of Bilbao's municipal Expodistrito series, which brings free exhibitions to the city's neighbourhoods, the Abando Municipal Centre hosts this Blas de Otero Foundation show from 3 November to 3 December. It gathers works that a group of visual artists, musicians and poets, including Blas de Otero, created in the 1970s as a tribute to Pablo Picasso ahead of his centenary, kept in a limited-edition portfolio. Visitors can see unique pieces by Vicente Aleixandre, Jorge Guillén, Antonio Saura and others, set against Picasso's Guernica. Open mornings and afternoons, with a guided tour on 9 November at 19:00.
