Euskadiko Orkestra 2026/27: "TRAGIKOA"
The Euskadiko Orkestra performs Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 6, known as the "Tragic", at Auditorio Baluarte in Pamplona. Lasting about 79 minutes and driven by the idea of fate, it was written during a happy period of Mahler's life yet is his darkest music: a relentless march, the lyrical "Alma theme", a sarcastic scherzo, a nostalgic andante with cowbells and a vast finale with the famous hammer blows. Pablo González, former principal conductor of the Barcelona Symphony and Catalonia National Orchestra and the RTVE Symphony Orchestra, conducts. The concert takes place on 23 April 2027 at 19:30, with tickets from 10 to 41 €.
