Euskadiko Orkestra 2026/27: "SCHUMANN / BRAHMS"
A 2026/27 season concert by Euskadiko Orkestra at Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao on 14 April 2027 at 19:30. Christian Zacharias conducts and plays piano in a programme pairing Brahms with his mentor Schumann. The Sociedad Coral de Bilbao (Bilboko Koral Elkartea) performs Nänie and Schicksalslied, symphonic-choral works setting Schiller and Hölderlin that reflect on death and fate through consoling music. Then come Schumann's Introduction and Allegro appassionato, featuring the piano as a passionate voice, and Brahms's Symphony No. 3, often seen as the brightest of his four. Tickets go on sale on 1 September.
