Euskadiko Orkestra 2026/27: "ENIGMA"
The Euskadiko Orkestra brings to the Kursaal in San Sebastián a programme marking the 90th anniversary of the first Basque Government. It features Jesús Guridi's Diez melodías vascas, built on traditional tunes collected by Azkue; Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 22 with pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja, a leading interpreter of the Viennese classics; and Elgar's Enigma Variations, fourteen musical portraits of friends and a bulldog. Polish conductor Marzena Diakun leads the orchestra. Concerts start at 7:30 pm, and tickets go on sale on 1 September.
