Euskadiko Orkestra 2026/27: "BARTOK / SHOSTAKOVICH"
Euskadiko Orkestra closes its 2026/27 season at the Kursaal in San Sebastián on 27 May 2027 at 19:30, conducted by Bulgarian conductor Delyana Lazarova, winner of the Siemens Hallé International Competition. The concert honours María Luisa Ozaita, a pioneer in championing music by women, on the tenth anniversary of her death, with her Siciliana. Pianist Josu de Solaun performs Bartók's demanding Piano Concerto No. 2, and the evening ends with Shostakovich's Symphony No. 5, premiered in 1937 under pressure from Soviet authorities. Tickets go on sale on 1 September.
