Euskadiko Orkestra 2026/27: "Bach inspirazio"
A concert by the Euskadiko Orkestra conducted by Paul Goodwin, an early-music specialist associated with The English Concert and the Academy of Ancient Music. The programme explores how 19th- and 20th-century composers reimagined Bach: a suite of cantata sinfonias transcribed by Goodwin, arrangements by Elgar, Webern, Vaughan Williams and Holst, and Villa-Lobos's Bachianas Brasileiras nº2, which blends counterpoint with Brazilian rhythms. It takes place on 12 January 2027, from 19:30 to 21:00, at the Conservatorio de Música Jesús Guridi in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
