"Marine strata"
A free photography exhibition in Getxo, running from 1 to 30 October. The series gathers macro images taken at the port of Getaria: boats, carts, oars and walls where the work of seafaring women and men, time and salt have left layers of colour, lines and textures. Drawing on "art trouvé" and the work of Aaron Siskind, the show turns everyday objects into abstract art and reflects on society's increasingly distant relationship with the sea. On Saturday 3 October at 11:00 there will be an introduction to the exhibition and a photography workshop using phones or cameras.
