Ensemble Les Surprises + Veronique Gens
Ensemble Les Surprises, conducted by Louis-Noël Bestion de Camboulas, joins soprano Véronique Gens at the Kursaal in San Sebastián for « Reinas », a concert conceived as an imaginary opera for soloist, orchestra and choir. The programme pays tribute to the queens of 18th-century French opera with arias, dances and choruses by Rameau, Destouches, Dauvergne, Gluck and others, a repertoire rooted in tradition that foreshadows the aesthetic and political changes of the century's end. Saturday 28 November 2026 at 19:30. Tickets from 11 to 56 €.
