Centro Cultural Eduardo Úrculo in Madrid's Tetuán district opens a rehearsal of Crematorio to the public, Rafael Chirbes's novel adapted for the stage by Juan Asperilla and Antonio Simón and produced by GG Producción Escénica. The play follows the Bertomeu family, wealthy for generations, and Rubén Bertomeu, who left farming behind to build a business empire that made him the most powerful man in Misent. It portrays moral decay and environmental damage in the wake of the property boom. 16 October 2026 at 7:00 pm, free admission. Running time 90 minutes; recommended for ages 16 and over.
