Pamplona Encounters 2026: Iaiaiai group, "A new look at the irrintzi"
As part of the Pamplona Encounters 2026, the Iaiaiai group from Aiaraldea presents a performance in the hall of Auditorio Baluarte that brings together sound, body and space. Drawing on their artistic and anthropological research into the Basque irrintzi, the piece explores what this cry means today: a means of communication, a symbol of identity, a link to ancestors or a creative tool between tradition and the contemporary. It takes place on 9 October 2026 at 18:30 in Pamplona. No invitation needs to be collected.
