The secrets of episcopal Girona
A free guided tour of the Museu d'Art de Girona, part of the European Heritage Days, on 11 October 2026 at 5 pm. The museum is housed in the former Episcopal Palace, home to the bishop of Girona and his curia for over a thousand years, which hosted kings such as Peter the Ceremonious, Ferdinand the Catholic and Charles V. The tour reveals little-known corners of the building, including an old prison with inscriptions carved into the walls by its inmates. Places are limited and prior registration is required.
