Eloi Vila: Stories of the Civil War
Eloi Vila presents a talk-style monologue with projections about stories from the Spanish Civil War. He draws on accounts from his book Cartes des del front and his TV3 programmes Trinxeres, in which he walked the last Civil War front in Catalonia from Pallars to the Ebro, and Quanta Guerra!, which reconstructs the wartime experiences of well-known people's grandparents. The aim is to break the long silence of those who lived through the war, ninety years on. It takes place on 10 October 2026 at 8 pm at the Teatre Centre Catòlic in Sant Joan de les Abadesses. Price: €15. Part of Programa.cat.
