The ISLADAK theatre group stages its adaptation of Bonnie Garmus's novel “Lecciones de química”, set in the 1950s, when women were beginning to enter the world of science. Played by four actresses, Elizabeth tells her granddaughter about the joys, sorrows and hardships she faced for wanting to be a scientist and an independent woman, with present-day scenes interwoven with recreations of that era. The play is a call for equality and a reminder of how far there is still to go. Performance on 15 October 2026 at 19:30 at Seminarixoa, Bergara. Tickets: €5.
