"El trujamán. Entre Cervantes y Shakespeare" (Basque Country premiere)
Teatro Barakaldo hosts the Basque Country premiere of this production from Catalonia, written and performed by Pepe Zapata, directed by Ignasi Camprodón, with music by Gerard Vázquez. Its central figure is a trujamán, an interpreter who has spent his life carrying other people's words between languages and worlds, and who finally decides to speak for himself. Through him, the play revisits the Spanish Golden Age, Cervantes and Shakespeare, and highlights the unseen mediators who keep culture moving. Performance on 17 October 2026 at 20:00; tickets cost €15.
