The soil. A walk through life
A free exhibition for all audiences about soil, an essential yet little-known natural resource that supports the planet, provides us with food, fibres, building materials and medicines, and helps regulate the climate and purify water. It explains how soils form, their structure, the different types and their importance to society, since life is not possible without healthy soils. Produced by the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales in collaboration with the Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología, it can be visited throughout October 2026, Tuesday to Sunday, at the Centro de Educación Ambiental y Cultural Maris Stella (Usera) in Madrid.
