"King Lear"
A Portuguese company offers a radical, minimalist and irreverent take on Shakespeare's classic, with just three performers, Carlos Pereira, Susana Nunes and Tiago Viegas, playing every character. Directed by José C. García as a collective creation, the production uses metatheatre and intense physical work to explore power, ambition and human fragility, questioning both the story and the act of staging it. The 80-minute performance takes place on 6 November 2026 at 20:30 at Kultur Leioa in Leioa. Tickets range from €6.00 to €8.50.
