"El rey está loco"
A stage comedy about Philip V, a sick and exhausted king who wants nothing more than to stop ruling and go hunting. His madness drags in Genaro, a servant ready to profit from every opportunity. Through absurd situations and a chaotic blend of reality and fiction, the play looks with humour at power and greed, showing how the ravings of an 18th-century monarch still feel strikingly current. The performance takes place at Teatro Ansoáin at 19:30, with tickets at 7 €. Beforehand, on Tuesday 20 October at 19:00, a backstage visit explains the set design, lighting, costumes and sound; places are limited and advance registration is required by 16 October.
