'El invencible verano de Liliana' (LA TEATRERIA)
LA TEATRERIA stages 'El invencible verano de Liliana', based on the book that won the 2024 Pulitzer Prize for Memoir and Autobiography. Drawing on diaries, notes and phrases gathered by her sister, the play pieces together the life of Liliana Rivera Garza, a young university student who was murdered, and the events leading up to the crime, reflecting a violence that has silenced countless women. A drama about grief, memory and dignity. It plays on 30 October 2026 at 20:30 at the Teatro Principal in Palencia, running 90 minutes, with tickets at 20 euros, as part of the Castilla y León Theatre Network.
