The right to life in the face of proposals to enshrine abortion in the constitution
On Friday 30 October at 7 pm, the Biblioteca Pública de León hosts a talk by Fernando Simón Yarza on the right to life in light of proposals to enshrine abortion in the constitution. The speaker is a professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Navarra, winner of the Francisco Tomás y Valiente Prize for his doctoral thesis and a member of Princeton's James Madison Society. He has been a visiting researcher at Münster, Boston, Princeton and Oxford and has translated several books by Robert Spaemann. Aimed at anyone interested in constitutional law and legal debate. Free admission until the venue is full.
