"El Club de los Poetas Muertos"
Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao stages the theatre adaptation of El club de los poetas muertos by Tom Schulman, who won an Oscar for the screenplay of the 1989 film. Juan Luis Iborra translated the play into Spanish and directs it, with Juanjo Artero leading the cast. At the strict Welton Academy, teacher John Keating inspires his students to love poetry and find their own voice, bringing them into conflict with their parents and the school authorities. Performances on 27 and 28 May at 19:30 and on 29 and 30 May at 19:00. Tickets from 14 to 26 €.
