Doble Capa + La Joya

Doble Capa, a Madrid duo of Mario and Arianne, play untamed blues on drums and cigar box guitar; they recorded "La Felpa" in Chicago with Steve Albini, have appeared at Primavera Sound, and have a new album, "Yo lloré porque me dolía mucho", on Aloud Music. La Joya is Manel M. Hontoria and Ricky Lavado, veterans of Standstill, Nudozurdo and Egon Soda, whose guitar-and-drums songs are stripped back to the essentials, drawing on slowcore and post-rock, as heard on the 2025 LP "Las Cruces".
