Dirdir 2026: Lorena Álvarez and Víctor Herrero: "Amanece, que no es poco"
As part of the Dirdir 2026 festival, Lorena Álvarez and Víctor Herrero perform live the music they have created for "Amanece, que no es poco" while José Luis Cuerda's film is screened (Spain, 1989, 106 minutes, original version). Both musicians draw on Iberian folk and popular tradition, with simple, humorous songs that echo this cult absurdist comedy, in which a professor and his father arrive by sidecar in a mountain village full of eccentric residents.
