Draw Madrid
A new edition of Dibuja Madrid, organised by Museo ABC and Centro Cultural Clara del Rey as part of the Madrid Otra Mirada festival. On Friday 16 October at 19:00, UCM art history lecturer Concepción Lópezosa gives a talk on the Rastro district, from Embajadores to Puerta de Toledo. On Saturday 17, from 10:00, artist Javier Chavarria leads a drawing walk of about seven hours starting at Mercado de San Fernando, with a lunch break and a final sharing of work. Participants compare early 20th-century images from the ABC Archive and Collection with today's city. Digital drawing is welcome. Free entry until the 50-person capacity is reached; bringing your own materials is recommended.
