Demode Quartet: "A Kupela"
Demode Quartet presents "A Kupela", a staged concert travelling through folk songs from all five continents, mostly original arrangements sung a cappella and spiced with humour and wild theories about songs, countries and composers. Ranging from country to Bollywood, it features a Sephardic song in Ladino, French chanson, songs in Gaelic and English, a Maori haka paired with a New Zealand whalers' song, and Japanese min'yo fused with J-pop. Performed by Iker Huitzi, Joli Pascualena, Santi Romano and Karlos Nguema, directed by Patxi Barco and Joli Pascualena. Live music, 75 minutes. 20 December 2026 at 19:00, Casa de Cultura del Valle de Aranguren. Tickets: €7.
