Cultur Izan 2026: NAVARJOTA: "Herencia viva de la jota"
A show from the Cultur Izan 2026 programme celebrating the Navarrese jota and the people who have kept this tradition alive. It centres on Maribel Muñoz, a performer and teacher of Navarrese folklore and founder of the Castejón Jota School, who has passed this heritage on to several generations. Biographical storytelling, audiovisual material and live performances explore the sung, danced and instrumental jota. It takes place on 10 October 2026 at 19:00 at the Centro Cultural Sarasate de Castejón. Free admission with invitation.
