Cuando el cuerpo se vaya
Compañía Cometa presents Cuando el cuerpo se vaya, a documentary-fiction play spanning the 20th century in Zarza de Montánchez, a village in Cáceres, through the 1920s, 1940s and 1970s. Staged with a bare set of two benches and a working streetlamp, in the spirit of Grotowski's poor theatre, it blends pantomime, physical theatre and Extremaduran folk music, with costumes inspired by the village's traditional dress. Running time is about 1 hour 15 minutes. Suitable for all audiences, though not recommended for children under 7 due to scenes of stage violence. Free admission, 15 October 2026 at 19:00 at Centro Cultural Lope de Vega (Puente de Vallecas), Madrid.
