Lecture: 'Las hermanas Brönte'
To mark Women Writers' Day, historian Eva Mera gives a lecture on the Brontë sisters, three women who, isolated on the Yorkshire moors, wrote some of the most powerful novels in English literature, initially hiding their authorship behind male names. The talk is aimed at anyone interested in literature and the history of women writers. It takes place on 22 October 2026 at 7:00 pm at the Centro Sociocultural Valle Inclán (Fuencarral - El Pardo) in Madrid. Admission is free.
