Lecture "The Sagrada Família temple as a colossal work of organ building" — The design and construction of the bells of the Sagrada Família
Galdric Santana gives this lecture on the design and construction of the Sagrada Família bells, a project where architecture, engineering, acoustics and musical tradition meet. The talk covers its technical and artistic challenges and the role of sound in how the temple was conceived. It is part of the II Jornades de Patrimoni Sonor of the Escola de Música Tradicional de Sant Cugat and the Gaudí Year commemoration. It takes place at La Unió Santcugatenca in Sant Cugat del Vallès, from 7 to 8.30 pm. Free admission.
