Carillon concert at the Palau de la Generalitat
November carillon concert at the Palau de la Generalitat in Barcelona, on Sunday 1 November at 12 noon. The programme offers an autumn morning of music from the dance orchestras of the first half of the 20th century. The instrument, inaugurated in 1976 thanks to carillonneur M. Dolors Coll, has 49 bells and 4,898 kg of bronze, and its largest bell bears the name 'Catalunya'. It was built in the Netherlands by Petit & Fritsen. Registration closes on the Friday before the concert.
