Book club: "La casa redonda" (Louise Erdrich)
The Spanish-language reading group at Biblioteca de Soraluze meets on 21 October 2026 at 18:30, led by Mónica Leiva, to discuss "La casa redonda", Louise Erdrich's 2012 novel (original title: The Round House). Set in 1988 on an Ojibwe reservation in North Dakota, it follows 13-year-old Joe Coutts as he and his friends search for the man who attacked his mother, while jurisdiction laws make a trial almost impossible. The novel explores adolescence, justice, family bonds and Ojibwe culture. Free admission.
