Fas Film Club: "SALVE MARÍA"
The Fas film club screens "Salve María" (Spain, 2024, 111 min), directed by Mar Coll, at the Salón Indautxu in Bilbao, in original version with Spanish subtitles. A horror adaptation of Katixa Agirre's book 'Las madres no', it follows María, a young writer who becomes obsessed with the case of a woman who drowned her two children. A dark, feminist film that also explores difficult postpartum experiences. The short "Vamps" by Lluis Miñarro is also shown, with Kristina Zorita as guest. Starts at 19:45. Tickets: 5 €, or 3 € for students, unemployed people and people with disabilities.
