International Romantic Organ Cycle 2026: OLATZ SAITUA & XABIER URTASUN
A concert in Azkoitia on 10 October 2026 at 20:00, part of the International Romantic Organ Cycle 2026. It features soprano Olatz Saitua and organist Xabier Urtasun, a native of Irurita (Navarre) who trained in organ, piano and harpsichord in Donostia, Barcelona and Stuttgart. Urtasun won third prize at the Joseph Gabler International Competition in Ochsenhausen in 2019, has performed as a soloist in several European countries and Peru, and took part in recording the complete works of Olivier Messiaen. He currently teaches harpsichord at the Pablo Sarasate Conservatory in Pamplona and pedagogy at Musikene.
