IAKantuan Cycle 2026: Amalur Abesbatza
A concert by the mixed choir Amalur Abesbatza as part of the IAKantuan cycle, the new autumn programme at IAK-Izaskun Arrue Kulturgunea devoted to voice and singing in Basque, which also includes the Kantalab course and a performance by the Nomaziak choir. Founded in Vitoria-Gasteiz in 2021 and a member of the Álava Choir Federation, Amalur brings together experienced choral singers and, conducted by Maite Gómez Etxebarria, performs sacred and secular works from various periods, from Basque folk songs to international repertoire. On 18 October 2026 at 19:00 at Centro Cultural Izaskun Arrue – Gasteiz Antzokia. Tickets: €5; free for Kantalab students.
