"Emakume zientzialarien argitan" series 2026: "Reflecting on the energy transition"

Lecturer and researcher Estitxu Villamor Lomas gives a talk on the energy transition as part of the Emakume Zientzialarien Argitan series, which aims to bring Basque women scientists to public attention. A lecturer at the EHU since 2016 and a member of the EKOPOL research group since 2018, she studies renewable energy potential using geographic information systems, local and regional energy footprints, and municipal-level energy transition. She is also active in groups defending the land and advocating a different energy model. The talk is introduced by Ana Galarraga and takes place on 1 December 2026 at 19:00 at the Centro Cultural Ernest Lluch in San Sebastián.
