Christiania
Cineteca Madrid hosts the Spanish premiere of Christiania, a documentary about the self-governed commune that for more than fifty years has tried to build a way of life rooted in freedom, creativity and consensus democracy. Drawing on rich archive footage and an intimate, humorous approach, the film looks at the community's ideals, tensions and changes, asking how far it can adapt to survive without losing what made it unique. The screening takes place on 22 October 2026 at 8:00 pm in Madrid. Paid admission.
