"Cantando bajo las balas"
The Luna Hiena company premieres this play by Antonio Álamo, in which Ane Gabarain portrays Millán Astray, founder of the Spanish Legion. Staged as a necrophilic cabaret and a dark-comedy esperpento, the monologue has the military figure addressing the audience in the present tense, with a violence-glorifying discourse that sounds disturbingly familiar today, centred on his clash with Unamuno on 12 October 1936. Directed by Asier Andueza, with Marc Servera also in the cast. At Teatro Gayarre in Pamplona on 9 October 2026 at 20:00. Tickets: €15.
