"Cándida"
A stage play written and directed by Patxo Telleria, starring Miren Gaztañaga, Nerea Mazo and Mikel Martinez. On the night Clara launches her novel, Manuela, the evicted elderly woman who inspired her character Cándida, turns up at her door asking to be taken in, just as happens in the book. Pressed by her publisher, Clara reluctantly agrees: the novel was marketed as autofiction, and if readers learn she did the opposite in real life, the investment and her reputation are at stake. Performance on 4 December 2026 at 20:15 at Zelai Arizti Aretoa, Zumarraga. Tickets: €10.
