Euskal Herria Dance Championship 2026 (Segura)
On 17 October, Segura hosts the 50th Euskal Herria Dance Championship, an anniversary celebrated by the town council. The day, also the 9th Dance Day, opens at midday with the competition at the pelota court, with a marquee and screen in the old court so everyone can follow it live. At 15:00 there is a lunch in the marquee (20 euros for adults, 15 euros for under-16s), and at 17:30 the square fills with open folk dancing led by Jaiki Hadi and Azpilla Dantza, for everyone to join. Events close at 19:30. Ten dancing couples from various towns take part this year.
