Bilbao Orkestra Sinfonikoa (BOS): "Guernica"
As part of its 2026/2027 season, the Bilbao Orkestra Sinfonikoa, conducted by José Miguel Pérez Sierra, revives "Guernica", a French opera premiered in Paris in 1895 whose score was recovered from the National Library of France. Set in Gernika during the Second Carlist War, it tells a Romeo and Juliet-style story with the Gernikako Arbola as its main melodic theme. The cast includes Anne-Catherine Gillet, Carmen Artaza and Emmanuel Franco, among others, with the Sociedad Coral de Bilbao and Sine Nomine Ensemble, and staging by Pablo Viar. Palacio Euskalduna, 19:30. Tickets from €15 to €34.
