Biennial of Thought — Unleashing the Present
From 13 to 18 October, the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona - CCCB hosts a new edition of the Biennial of Thought, under the theme "Unleashing the Present". This cultural reflection event focuses on contemporary cities, asking how solidarity can counter the exclusions created by neoliberalism, whether cities can become strongholds of democracy against authoritarianism, and how to improve residents' material and symbolic living conditions. Guests from thought, creative work and activism include writer Mariana Enríquez, filmmaker José Luis Guerin and former footballer and activist Liliam Thuran. This is a paid event.
