Biblioescena. 'Las guerras de nuestros pasados', with La Quimera de plástico
As part of Biblioescena, the performing arts series run by the Junta de Castilla y León in public libraries, the company La Quimera de plástico stages the theatre adaptation of Miguel Delibes's novel, written by Delibes himself with Ramón García Domínguez. The play follows Pacífico Pérez, a prisoner with tuberculosis in 1961, who tells his life story into a tape recorder for Dr. Burgueño, revealing a past shaped by the violence of his ancestors' wars. Active since 1983, the company has given over 3,000 performances. Friday 16 October at 19:00 in the auditorium of the Biblioteca Pública de Zamora. Free admission until full.
