BeZientzia. Science Fair 2026
The third edition of BeZientzia takes place on 26 and 27 October at the Ensanche building in Bilbao. This science outreach fair is aimed at Year 5 and 6 primary pupils in Bizkaia and sets out to bring science to children in a playful way. The five BERC research centres in Bizkaia run five txokos, or workshops, covering neuroscience, biophysics, climate change, applied mathematics and materials science, in both Basque and Spanish. Each morning has two sessions of up to 60 pupils. Schools can register until 30 September; if demand exceeds capacity, places will be drawn by lot. Supported by the Basque Government and Bilbao City Council.
