Barcelona Calling the Middle East — (Women reinvent themselves)
The third edition of this series at TNC - Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, which after Palestine and Beirut widens its focus to women creators from across the Middle East. From 10 to 15 November it features productions from Palestine, Iran, Lebanon and Syria, including Al-Sirah Al-Hilaliyyah by Khashabi Theatre, The Child with Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Record by Chrystèle Khodr and Nadim Deaibes, Three Verses of Solitude by Zoukak and Dressing Room by Bissane Al Charif, plus a DJ set by Yasmina Karrum. Performances in Arabic and Persian with subtitles. Recommended for ages 16 and up. Tickets 10 €, or a 6-show pack for 20 €.
