Vitoria-Gasteiz Municipal Music Band 2026-2027: "El Mar y la Civilización"
The Vitoria-Gasteiz Municipal Music Band presents the ninth concert of its season, themed around the sea and the mark civilisations leave behind, conducted by Iker Olazabal. The programme moves from the port nostalgia of Porto in Nelson Jesus's 'Porto de Saudades' to the epic legend of Bert Appermont's 'Saga Candida', the folk traditions of Shelley Hanson's 'Seis Manuel', Saúl Gómez's reflection on time in 'Stones and Sea', and the contemporary language of Alex Shapiro's 'Paper Cut'. It takes place on 21 April 2027, from 19:30 to 21:00, at the Palacio de Congresos Europa.
